2024 April PAD Challenge: Day 7

For today’s prompt, write a luck poem. The luck could be good luck or bad luck. Maybe it’s just the luck of the draw, or a contemplation of whether luck even exists. I wish you much luck in making today’s poem happen.

Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

Here’s my attempt at a Luck Poem:

“Unfinished Luck”

Through good luck and bad,
through happy and sad,
and all that other hullabaloo
we use to get us through
this thing and that
and whatever comes next,
know that my love is worth
more than some random text
that flows along a page
in a certain stage
of first draft or final,
o, what rhymes with final?!?
