Here’s my attempt at a Fire and/or Ice Poem:

“S’mores,” by Robert Lee Brewer

For every marshmallow lost
in the fire, there’s a moment of
real desire to put
every chocolate piece
and graham cracker
next to each other
down by the campfire,
including the marshmallows
caught before they fall,
evenly smooshed together.
