For today’s prompt, write a setting poem. Pick a setting: Could be exotic, or it could be something ordinary (even the setting in which you’re currently considering how to write your next poem). Anyway, pick a setting and write it out.
Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

Here’s my attempt at a Setting Poem:
“London Fog on Fleet Street”
I imagine cobblestones and smoke,
footsteps in the night. A man, a knife,
a monster looking for someone to bite.
And if not me, maybe you. So get inside
while you can and enjoy this meat pie.
