Wednesday Poetry Prompts: 693
OK, April is over, but it’s Wednesday; so, let’s poem.
For this week’s prompt, write a reset poem. While it feels like we’re still poeming daily (only because we are), the next poetry prompt won’t come for another week (next Wednesday). So let’s get reset…and poem about it.
Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

Here’s my attempt at a Reset Poem:
“Say When,” by Robert Lee Brewer
It’s late at night;
so I plug in the kids’ laptops
and unpack their lunch boxes.
Then, I head upstairs
to tuck them in and say,
“Good night; I love you,”
before brushing my teeth,
resetting the alarms on my phone
and falling asleep beside you.
