Agents and editors often do not have the time to give feedback. And it’s difficult for authors to be objective, to see where their work may be falling short.
Good writing is more than just beautiful prose. Many elements of writing must combine to create a truly compelling manuscript, such as sharp dialogue and prose, depth of characterization, intricate and well-paced plotting, and more.
Based on her book The Author’s Checklist: An Agent’s Guide to Developing and Editing Your Manuscript, this live webinar will show writers how to become more objective when editing their own writing and will cover more than 50 points for consideration before submitting to an agent, editor, or indie publisher, or simply to put forward their best work.
